The luggage storage service provided by Store My Luggage, a registered trademark owned by Lockers Lab Srl, consists of the rental of automatic lockers (hereinafter, the “Lockers”), intended for the temporary storage of luggage and/or personal items, which can be booked both on site and online at the company's sales points (hereinafter, the “Lockers Points”).
The period of use of the Lockers can have a minimum duration of 1 (one) hour and a maximum of 365 (three hundred and sixty-five) days, according to what the Customer selects during the booking phase.
The service is provided in a completely automated manner, without the presence of physical personnel on site.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Use of the service implies full and unconditional acceptance of the following terms and conditions by the Customer.
1. Rates
Service fees are determined unilaterally by Store My Luggage and are made clearly and visibly available on the website, in the app, and within Lockers Points.
2. Opening hours
Lockers Points are accessible every day from 9am to 6pm. 07: 00 22 at: 00Outside of these hours, it will not be possible to access the premises or the lockers until they reopen the following day.
3. Luggage dimensions
The Customer is required to check the dimensions of their luggage before renting, both on site and online.
The dimensions of the Lockers are clearly indicated on the website and inside the Lockers Points. No refunds are provided in case of non-compliant baggage.
4. Subjective requirements
The use of the service is permitted exclusively to persons adults (18 years of age or older).
5. Smoking ban
Inside the Lockers Point is made absolute ban on smoking, in compliance with current legislation.
6. Video surveillance
The Lockers Point are equipped with 24-hour video surveillance systems, in compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data.
7. Prohibited goods
It is expressly forbidden to store high-value, illegal, dangerous or otherwise unauthorized goods in the Lockers, including, but not limited to:
live or dead animals;
cash, payment instruments and securities;
weapons and explosive materials;
valuable software, data or computer media;
valuable electronic devices;
narcotic or dangerous substances;
waste;
works of art, antiques or precious goods;
identity or travel documents;
branded clothing or accessories.
8. Liability for stored goods
Store My Luggage assumes no responsibility for the contents of the Lockers. The Customer remains sole and exclusive responsible of the deposited goods.
9. Prohibition of unauthorized use
It is strictly forbidden to store goods in lockers found open without having made a proper reservation. In such cases, Store My Luggage will be held responsible. declines all responsibility for theft, loss or damage.
10. Failure to collect the goods
After a period of 10 (ten) days If the Customer has not collected the goods after the booking has expired, Store My Luggage reserves the right to remove the contents of the Lockers and to take any action, including legal action, to recover the sums due.
11. Terms of payment
Payment for the service is allowed exclusively through electronic payment instrumentsCash is not accepted.
12. Refund Policy
All confirmed reservations, whether made online or on-site, they are non-refundable, for no reason.
13. Rental duration and early collection
The Customer independently selects the duration of the Locker rental during the booking phase.
In case of early collection of the goods with respect to the expiry of the booked period, no refund is foreseen, in full or in part, for the unused time, regardless of the reason for the early withdrawal.
14. Delay in collection
In case of collection of the goods after the booked deadline, the Customer will be required to pay the additional amount relating to the excess time, calculated according to the current price list, displayed inside the Lockers Points and available on the website.
15. Closing the Locker
At the end of the rental, the Customer is obliged to close the locker door correctly.
Store My Luggage reserves the right to charge a penalty of €50,00 for each door left open.
16. Operation of the service and limitation of liability
Store My Luggage is committed to providing an efficient and functional service. In the event of malfunctions attributable to the company, the company undertakes to intervene, remotely or on-site where necessary, within 120 minutes of reporting.
In any case, any liability for indirect or consequential damages, such as, by way of example and not limited to, delays or cancellations of travel, failure of goodwill, loss of earnings, profits, customers or business opportunities, is excluded.
17. Major force
Store My Luggage will not be liable for failure to perform due to force majeure or otherwise not attributable to it, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, armed conflicts, terrorist acts, strikes, interruptions of services, criminal acts by third parties, measures by the authorities, intrinsic defects of the stored goods, as well as acts or omissions of the Customer or third parties.
18. Improper use or damage
Store My Luggage reserves the right to take any action it deems necessary, including legal action, in the event of improper use and/or damage to its capital goods.
19. Possible compensation
At its sole and unquestionable discretion, Store My Luggage may award any compensation up to a maximum of €1.200,00 per Locker, exclusively in the event of proven theft by third parties. (Clause to be subject to legal verification)
20. Customer Service
During Lockers Point opening hours, Store My Luggage provides continuous remote assistance Customers who request it. Customer service contact information is clearly displayed inside Lockers Points and on the website.
21. Amendments to the regulation
These rules may be modified at any time by Store My Luggage. Changes will be effective upon publication.
22. Access to the premises
Store My Luggage staff and law enforcement officials are always permitted access to Lockers Points if required for service and/or security reasons.
23. Jurisdiction
For any dispute relating to the interpretation, validity or execution of this regulation, the exclusively competent court it will be that of Florence.
